It's winter! If you're looking to get into some Winter out door recreation,
we've got it all... including the peace and quite.
What's in store???
Snowmobile Anyone?
December 01, 2007 officially usherd in the Michigan Upper Peninsula Snowmobile Season.
With this season ups and downs, there's always enough snow in the woods.
Cold Water Fishing Anyone?
If you can brave the seasonal cool temps on our inland lakes or Lake Superior's Munising Bay, you'll find some of the best fishing of the year.
Void, are crowds and fishing pressure on our lakes.
As lake foliage and vegetation become sparse, large bodied game fish head to the shallows to feed and
are in easy reach for anglers fishing from shore and river-mouth outlets to Lake Superior.
It won't be long, weather permitting of course, our inland lakes will begin to freeze over. Safe lake ice for foot travel usually occurs by the
first week of December. Ice fishing is a very healthy sport to embark on if you
haven't given it a try.
